Re: Constipation
Sounds like you may be particularly sensitive to opioids.
If you soon have a good clearout, and everything returns to normal, then probably nothing to worry about.
However, if you have any lingering issues, then you'd be well advised to avoid opioids like the plague.

I know this from my own personal experience.

'cleaned me out like the Cameroon back 4 on Claudio caniggia'

Loved that, top work

I've had a couple of spells of morphine in my time and by Christ it's like ready mix, binds like a wrongun
They gave me some kind of oily medicine stuff with the rest at release and by fuck it worked, dropped off a boat load of baby Somalians
In my experience though, the first delivery is somewhat underwhelming, a rather dissatisfying emergence, but fear not, that little pathfinder seems to free up the pipe for the truly admirable follower - albeit, you will feel strangely violated, in Sowetto cell block style
I'd start with the fluids thing first though mate, then hit the Class A crapmeisters - good luck with it and keep us appraised

A few cans of guinness might be a more pleasant option than moviprep.

Re: Constipation
Was in the hospital with pancreatitis last year and spent ten days off my tits on morphine, the side-effect was that I couldn't shit.

After having increasingly potent laxatives the nurse gave me the nuclear option.

Spent two hours pouring rotten mulligatawny soup down the pan.

Mate of mine is an anaesthetist.

Told me story, a while ago, a bloke was constipated and had been for ages, needed surgery to remove the blockage. Shit everywhere!

Re: Constipation
I’ve had the colonoscopy and it was worth it for the laxatives alone although the sedative was a bonus too.

I love a good clear out and at the laxatives they give you for a colonoscopy induced Niagara Falls from my arse. By the time I was finished I had spring water gushing out I was that clean.

Try and get hold of that gear and your bunged up worries will be history.

Give yourself a coffee enema and then boil the prunes in that. Neck the lot and that will get your holes open

Re: Constipation
Haller, I had Moviprep prior to the camera up the arse. As someone else printed out if it's a dried out lump blockage that might not be the best first approach. Hence olive oil / prunes type approach maybe first option.

Alternatively speak to a proper doctor instead of of us dickheads.
